    Submit a pitch

    Drop your website and a short pitch on the homepage. No account. Pick Lightweights, Middleweights, or Heavyweights.

  2. 02

    Pick a pool

    Choose Lightweights, Middleweights, or Heavyweights. Your name lands in that pool as soon as you submit.

  3. 03

    Fight for rank

    Until 6 lightweights, 4 middleweights, and 2 heavyweights list, visitors play exhibitions — vote as many same-pool matchups as you want. After that, they see six matchups an hour. Companies that have not battled yet get the next shot; rating moves when the hour closes.

THE PITCH PIT / ELO

HOW RANK MOVES

One card, six fights

Until 6 lightweights, 4 middleweights, and 2 heavyweights list, the floor runs exhibitions — vote as many matchups as you want, styled by pool. After that roster fills, each hour opens a full card: 3 Pit, 2 Undercard, and 1 Main Event. You preview first, then vote one matchup at a time. Pit is 1 point, Undercard 3, Main Event 7 to split however you want. A 10-minute grace lets you finish if the hour ends mid-card.

Unfought names go first

Matchups prefer companies that have not battled yet, then whoever has had the fewest fights. On a full card a company appears once. Exhibitions mint a new pairing after each vote.

Points, then Elo

The points visitors put on a fight are the floor total. When the card closes, the winner’s share of those points moves Elo — a sweep moves more than a 4–3. Rankings update at the hour, not on each ballot.
